Hollow skull

this was the first plaster and charcoal sculpture I did from a dear pelvis.

for this I had to first had to make a rubber mold

this is mixing the charcoal with the plaster, it is important to first mix some of the plaster   before you add the charcoal.

the charcoal with float on top of the water and plaster unless you fold it in.

this is the wet mold because it is upside down you have to either constantly move the mold around or drag the plaster up to more thine spots.

after the plaster is dried i had to cut away the rubber mold, this is why the rubber flexible  mold that can be removed.
